We live in a remarkable place. Even as the pace of things around us continues to increase, our communities still have the feel of small towns. These qualities are worth preserving.
Much of what we appreciate about living here, our open space, trails, preserved shorelines, and the preservation of our historic town centers, is due to prior vision, thoughtful planning, and diligence. Now it’s our turn to put the next steps into place.
We need to address our challenges in a way that continues to protect our uniqueness, recognizes the current needs of neighborhoods and families, and focuses on the long-term sustainability and health of our communities and the environment.
I’m inspired to bring people together, dig deep, ask questions, and solve problems. As a three term City Council Member and four year Board Chair of the County Transportation Authority of Marin (TAM) I have an appreciation for the day-to-day nuts and bolts, a track record of getting things done, and a pragmatic perspective into how communities can benefit from county-level support.
I have loved serving our community, and look forward to continuing to work together as your Supervisor.
